Sterilization Monitoring Service
SMS would like to remind you to remember your waterlines!
Dental offices around the country are carefully reopening. With offices and/or operatories being shut down for extended periods of time, it is important to perform the recommended equipment maintenance and testing on dental unit waterlines and make sure they are safe for use. Learn more.
SMS remains open during the COVID-19 outbreak.
With directives from the government, The Ohio State University, and the Dean of the College of Dentistry, SMS remains open to assure monitoring of your sterilization equipment and for waterline testing. We are committed to continuity of service for our customers, with as little disruption as possible. To assure safety for our employees, we are working with a reduced staff. We will keep you updated if we have further information to share.
Experienced, Reliable, Well-Organized
The Sterilization Monitoring Service at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry is dedicated to providing you with reliable service in order to assure the hassle-free monitoring of your sterilization equipment and dental unit waterlines.
To provide you with testing, documentation and the peace of mind regarding your sterilizer, the Sterilization Monitoring Service delivers prompt, experienced and reliable biological monitoring at a highly competitive price.
Both the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the American Dental Association recommend the weekly testing of all sterilizers. In Ohio, the Ohio State Dental Board (OSDB) mandates the weekly biological monitoring of all sterilization equipment used in the dental office.
